Reflexology in Ahuntsic, where Samer started

Foot reflexology worked on the understanding that tension shows up a long way from where it began. Fifteen years of it, and a teaching qualification on top.

$95 for 60 minutes · $135 for 90 — the same price as every other treatment here. Insurance receipt only when combined with massage.

What it is

The feet as a map of everything above them

Reflexology is pressure work on the feet, hands and ears, applied on the understanding that a tight shoulder rarely starts at the shoulder. Someone arrives with a neck that will not let go, and the session often begins a long way from the neck.

WHAT HAPPENS

You stay dressed

Shoes and socks off, everything else on. You are in a chair or on the table, face up, and you can see what is happening the whole time.

HOW IT FEELS

Firm, and specific

Steady thumb pressure, point by point. Some points are tender — that is information, not a target. Say the word and the pressure changes.

AFTERWARDS

He tells you what he found

Including when reflexology is not the answer and something else would serve you better. That costs him a booking and saves you an hour.

Why him

1,270 training hours. More than six hundred in this alone.

Reflexology is not an add-on he picked up. It is where the practice began and it still shapes how every session runs.

Reflexology questions

Is reflexology just a foot massage?

No. A foot massage works the foot. Reflexology works the foot as a map — specific points, held under steady pressure, chosen from what the therapist finds rather than from a routine. The sensation is firmer and more specific than a massage, and it is applied point by point rather than in strokes.

Does it cost more than a massage here?

No. $95 for 60 minutes, $135 for 90 — the same as a massage here. You are booking the therapist’s time, not a technique.

Can I combine it with a massage?

Yes, and most people do. Reflexology & massage is the most-booked combination here: feet first, then the area that brought you in. Reflexology also combines with cupping, deep tissue, trigger point and sports work, at no extra cost.

Do I get a receipt for insurance?

Not for reflexology on its own. A mixed session — reflexology with massage — is receipted like any massage: therapist’s name, FQM member number 20937, the date, the treatment and the amount you paid.

Start with the feet.

Sixty minutes to see what it is. Ninety if there is something specific you want looked at.
